Of course, it takes more than love for fishing. It starts with our staff. Besides going fishing twice a week, the staff consists of Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructors, and U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains. We fish the local waters, and we tie our own flies. We create original patterns for fly fishing, particularly for the waters of the first coast. We field test new items, and we retest the standards in the same conditions you might encounter. When you have a question about a product, what product to use, where to go and when, more than likely we will have an answer for you . If not, we will not rest until we do.

The equipment and supplies we carry are ones we've all used. We'll tell you how it worked for us - the good, and the not so good. We carry only brands that we trust, and we include products in a price range that everyone can afford. It is true that the more expensive products are often superior. With top of the line engineering and finishes, they may last longer, and sometimes have better warranties. It's also true that some less expensive products work very well, and may suit your needs better. Our goal is to make fishing accessible to anyone who wants to try it, because we truly believe that fishing is an experience that no one should miss.

We believe, too, that there are many species of fish to be caught on a fly. We don't limit ourselves to the saltwater favorites - bonefish, permit, tarpon. Excitement awaits the fly fisher who can entice many other species: redfish, bass, spec. trout, bluegill, mackerel, snook, cobia, or any other fish. The joy lies in the carefully selected fly, and the perfect presentation.
