Inshore Fly or Light Tackle Charter Rates

Our Captains are the best in Northeast Florida. They all specialize in their own area from St. Augustine to Cumberlin Island Ga. It doesn't matter if you want to cast topwaters for Gator Trout or be poled to backing Reds our Captains can put you on the fish.  The Salty Feather also specializes in company charters and can handle groups up to 50 people.

We Provide - Boat, Guide, Safety Equipment, Fly Fishing Tackle and Flies, Spinning Tackle and Lures, Bait, and One on One Instruction. Complimentary Bottled Water and Gatorade.

Kayak Fishing Charter Rates

Want a different type of kayak charter.  One that puts you into area's that nobody can get to.  A place were the fish haven't seen every lure or fly. Then come along on a Salty Feather Charter that puts the kayaks on a flats boat and moters to area's kayaker's can't get to and then fish's the areas that boaters can't get to.

Nearshore Fishing Charter Rates

During the summer months starting the end of April and continuing to the beginning of September there are bait pods along the beach. These bait pods can be Pogy's holding Tarpon,  Jacks, Cobia, and Bull Reds or Glass Minnows holding Spanish, Jacks, Blues, Ladyfish, and Sharks. This can be very exciting fly fishing.  The Tarpon 100lb+ and the Jacks 20lb to 40lb will be balling the bait up and crashing into the the pods as they feed. A 30lb Jack on a fly rod is about as much fight as and 10 to 12 wt. can handle. The peak fishing or the Tarpon and the Jacks is the month of August and the first couple of weeks of September. The Spanish and Blues show up the end of April and can be consistent throughout the summer. A 7 or 8 wt. is perfect for these fish since most will be 2lb to 5lb. but when your fishing bait pods you never know what you might hook.
