| Captain John Bottko is a charter member of the Northeast Florida Fly Fishing Club and past president. John and his wife Nancy started The Salty Feather fly shop in 1994. John has created numerous saltwater fly patterns, five of which appear in the book and CD ROM, Flies for Saltwater(Stewart and Allen). John demonstrates fly tying in A.J. McClane's New Standard Fishing Encyclopedia CD ROM. He teaches fly tying classes at the shop, and has taught fly fishing at Jacksonville University. He also holds an FFF certified casting instructor certificate. When not working John fishes in and around Florida and exotic fly fishing destinations, always in search of new challenges. He's one of the most knowledgeable saltwater fly fishing guides in Florida. |

Captain David Borries is a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain who specializes in inshore light tackle and fly fishing. He has been fishing northeast Florida for over 20 years and has been a full-time guide for over 10 years. As a kid growing up in Biloxi, Mississippi, his fondest memories are fishing with his father out of a wooden row boat. Capt. David is a staff writer for Onshore-Offshore Magazine and has written for magazines like Redfish Nation and The Jacksonville Fisherman. He has been featured in Florida Sportsman and The Times Union articles by Joe Julavits and Trailer Boats Magazine by Jim Hendricks. He has appeared on local TV- Fun Fishing With Jim Hammond and is a weekly guest on The Florida Sportsman radio show hosted by Rick Ryles. Capt David has been a guide for the Redbone Oldest City Red-Trout Celebrity Tournament since 2002 when he won guide to the grand champion angler, first runner-up angler, team champion and largest redfish. In 2004 he took guide to the largest trout, in 2005 guide to the first runner up and 2006 guide to the largest redfish. However, Capt. David feels his biggest accomplishments are helping local charities and turning young kids on to fishing. |

| Capt. Tony Bozzella is a long time tournament pro having a top 5 and 2 top ten finishes bn the Professional Redfish Tour. He has won the Mitzi Skiff Redfish Shootout overall tour champion, Key Largo Backcountry Challenge and the Top Guide Award with multiple 1st place wins on the Celebrity Redbone tournaments,and over 30 top 5 finishes throughout the Southeast. He has been featured on ESPN, OLN, FOX and various magazine/news articles. Tony is a full time guide and also owns and operates TBS Jigs and Charters. His jigs are featured at The Salty Feather. He is also Pro Staff with Florida Sportsman Magazine, traveling the state. with 8 shows a year, teaching and seminar speaking. |

| Captain Larry Miniard has been fishing the offshore and inshore waters of North Florida since 1960 and has been a US Coast Guard licensed charter captain since the early 1970's. Captian Miniard specializes in fly fishing and light tackle fishing in the inland waters of North Florida. He represented the Orvis Fly Company as an endorsed guide from 1993 to 1998. Currently he represents Daiwa Fishing Tackle, Mercury Marine, Proline Boats and RipTide Fishing Lures. He is also a founding member of the North Florida Triple Challenge Tournaments. Captain Miniard has also been a very consistent tournament fisherman. Fishing the Ranger-Mercury-Cabela's Redfish Tour, Captain Minard finished 5th in the 2001 Angler of the Year Race and 9th in the 2002 Angler of the Year Race. In 2003 Captain Minard was #1 in the Ranger-Mercury-Cabela's Open Division Championship. Captain Miniard has been a guest speaker at seminars for Saltwater Magazine and Sport Fishing Magazine as well as many local clubs. There have been many articles written about Captain Miniard in national as well as local publications. |
